BROOKGREEN GARDENS In 1931, Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington
founded Brookgreen Gardens, a non-profit corporation, to
preserve the native flora and fauna and display objects
of art within that natural setting. Brookgreen Gardens is
a National Historic Landmark with one of the most
significant collections of figurative sculpture by
American artists in the world and has the only zoo
accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association
on the coast of the Carolinas. These are some of the
photos Bonnie & Jack have taken while visiting this
South Carolina treasure. |
